Ever since I first played one I've been jonesing for a slot head Taylor. The mahogany 12 fret sounds gorgeous. Some interesting comments regarding cutaway v. non-cutaway versions. And I'll need to check out the 12fret Martins based on some comments above. Casually dropped in on this discussion and came away with a different perspective; I like

It started with a 35th Anniversary model and Bob Taylor liked the design so much that the 12 Fret Grand Concert model was put into regular production. This wonderfully comfortable guitar features a Sitka spruce top, Indian Rosewood sides and back, a 12 fret neck to body design with a slotted head stock, venetian cutaway and Taylor ES pickup system. This USED Taylor 12-Fret GA 2011 Spring Limited is in EXCELLENT condition! Cosmetically, it is VERY clean showing little to NO wear. Looks barely played! (see below for details).
